Citeel in 2024 – What a Year!

As we reach the end of yet another eventful year, we at Citeel are excited to reflect on our most significant achievements and developments throughout 2024. From forging strategic partnerships and entering new markets to securing notable recognition and enhancing our core solutions, this year has truly showcased our commitment to innovation and growth. Below is a recap of our major milestones and a preview of what lies ahead.

 

Establishing a Strong U.S. Presence and Maintaining High Compliance Standards

One of our foremost goals in 2024 was to strengthen our presence in the United States. Building on efforts that started in late 2023, we successfully entered the U.S. market, enabling us to serve our expanding North American clientele better. In tandem with this initiative, we proudly earned SAM clearance for the second consecutive year, reflecting our unwavering dedication to meeting and exceeding both industry and government compliance benchmarks.

Moreover, we remain a proud member of the NATO NCAGE program, underscoring our adherence to international standards and best practices. These accomplishments validate Citeel as a reliable, trusted partner for both government and private organizations worldwide. By combining our enhanced U.S. footprint with a strong commitment to rigorous compliance, we have laid a solid foundation for continued success in the years to come.

 

Growing Our Team

To support our expanding operations and provide exceptional service to our clients, we announced plans to acquire up to 60 new personnel. These additions span various departments—ranging from software development and data analytics to project management—allowing us to further innovate and refine our suite of solutions. Through this infusion of new talent, we will not only strengthen our daily operations but also prepare ourselves to meet the evolving demands of an increasingly interconnected marketplace.

 We will leverage these new hires throughout the coming year to finalize and launch our much-anticipated cybersecurity solution, ensuring cutting-edge protection for our clients.

Expanding to the Data-Center Market

Demonstrating our commitment to delivering secure and high-performance services, we partnered with our long-term partners to establish U.S.-based data centers. Positioned in key regions, these centers will bolster reliability, scalability, and performance across the board. As global data needs continue to grow, investment in top-tier infrastructure has become a critical priority, ensuring our clients benefit from industry-leading technology.

Since announcing the expansion, progress has been remarkable. We’ve engaged with representatives from 45 U.S. states, forged relationships with one of the world’s largest property developers, and conducted numerous partnership discussions. We’re delighted to share that three states have already offered potential data center locations, and we’ll be evaluating additional incentives early next year.

In the short term, we also plan to sign an MOU for financing six pilot data-center locations, each valued at USD 35 million, in collaboration with our established partner. This represents a major leap forward in our goal to provide world-class infrastructure solutions.

Strengthening Global Ties

Beyond our focus on the U.S. market, 2024 was also a year of expanding our international footprint. We had the honor of participating in a Slovenian delegation to China, paving the way for new partnerships and opportunities across Asia. Discussions and knowledge exchanges during this visit broadened our perspective and reinforced our belief in the transformative power of cross-border collaboration.

While time constraints prevented our involvement in a subsequent government delegation to Saudi Arabia, we were added to a select list of pre-approved companies, securing future invitations to high-level business-government delegations in 2025. We look forward to exploring these opportunities to further boost our global reach.

 

The Last—but Certainly the Biggest Update

In parallel with our U.S. expansion and compliance milestones, we have made substantial strides toward growing our presence in Asia. Negotiations around the acquisition of Citeel’s solutions for the Asian market have been ongoing since February. Though the journey has been lengthy, it has yielded consistent progress. After signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in April, negotiations have advanced favorably, and we are now drafting the agreement.

We have shared additional information with our investors via the Investor Center, and we look forward to publicly announcing the outcome soon. We are confident that our strategic positioning, paired with our international partnerships, will only continue to thrive.

While 2024 may have appeared relatively quiet on the surface, there has been a flurry of activity behind the scenes—from forging agreements and nurturing partnerships to exploring new business avenues. As we look toward 2025, we anticipate an even more dynamic environment, with multiple initiatives already underway that promise to drive innovation and success in the coming year.
